Who On Here Has The REAL "Jumbo" Coturnix? I need eggs

I breed the A&M White and have breed for size and color and would love to come out with a statment that I have some 16ozer's but I average 12 to 14oz and the 12 and 13 are the majority. When I started I hatched only the largest eggs thinking that they will make a bigger bird, if you feed them and care for them. The little eggs just take a little longer but get just as big. I have no numbers to prove that but most of my birds finish out very close to same weight. I will say the smaller eggs lay longer if its a hen but that is becuase the start a little later. Some of the folks a Kingsville say that the smaller eggs are easier on the bird. @A&M there records show that in the time it has taken to devlope the white

bird as gotten just a little bigger so I think it falles into the relm of mother nature if 12 to 14 oz is not big enough simple eat 2.

From my 1500 parent coturnix, there are about 5-10 hens weighted 600gram above, age 6 month. But their egg production is below average. Majority of the hens weight is about 400gram above. Just to share to anyone who wonder if they exist or not

I keep reading these numbers for butlers coturnix taking 6 months can you imagine how much food it would take to get a coturnix that big LOL after 8- 10 weeks is when mine go to freezer camp If I have to wait 6 months I am eating bobs
