Odd that only one of my for month olds has no start of a comb growing. She's a Golden Laced Wyndotte and beautiful in every way. I just find it odd she's got no comb... see...

All the other breeds I got (BO, Barred Rock, and Welsummer) have the start of combs. Is it a breed thing or what? Any ideas? Thanks! Oh, and I'm stroking her neck to keep her calm for the picture, not stangling my little girl! hehe

It isn't that she has no comb, it is that she has a rose comb. They're supposed to be flat and smooth like that. If you've got Wyandottes with bigger or more normal "sawtooth" looking combs, THOSE are the ones to worry about [IMG]
