I'm so sorry to hear that. Sometimes it seems like life just piles it on. As mroo said, this may end up with a relocation, but there are positives to that as well.
Before my current location of 10 years, I moved 11 times in 14 years. Sure does make you rethink what is worth packing up and moving.

I need to keep this to chickens as much as possible.

Today my husband was told that his company is closing down all stores. He's losing his job he's had for over twenty years, and the options for work are bleak.

Whenever I see the word bleak, I think of beak.

And so now I'm back to chickens. But man, the timing is terrible.
