Mine will support 8" of snow with 10' span and attachements every 12". Attachment points and reinforcement can make the setup stronger.

I have true deer fence over my run which is a lot stronger than bird or deer "netting", and I've not had a problem with snow or leaves. The deer fence has one inch square openings.I have read that snow will bring down netting though anyone had a problem with that? what about leaves in fall when they start falling?
My fake deer netting last as least 4 years and counting, likely longer than the typical backyard poultry keeps chickens in a particular setup.Sounds like if your going to go to the trouble of covering a run best to buy the best. I hate to have to redo things.
