Will my domestic mallards migrate?

Hi there,

We have 3 domestic mallard ducks that are about 10 weeks old now, and a rescued orphan mallard that is about 4 weeks old. The older bunch has been flying around our property a bit, not going terribly high, and generally staying within the acre around their pen. I hate to clip their wings. My question is - will they migrate as fall approaches? We live in a mountain climate with long winters and the wild ducks and geese around here will be flying near our house on their way south in the fall. Our flock consists of the mallards, 3 buffs, 2 Indian runners, and 6 geese - so, they definitely also have a "home" flock that they are part of. Will this encourage them to stay or should I plan to clip their wings before the urge to migrate occurs? Thanks for feedback,
