Will my hens be fine in this space?

Hello everyone! I live in suburban Australia and I’m wanting to upgrade my coop and run. I’ve attached some photos so you can visually see the space. The coop and run will be for 5-7 hens and they WONT be let out of the run to free range (maybe once a week) The run is approximately 20 something squared metres. People have said I have space up to 10 applying the 2sqm per hen, but I just wanted to double check!

I’ll be putting mulch in the run and building a roof also over the run.

The space looks fine. Technically you could keep 21 chickens in 215 square feet.

They will be in their 24/7. Will they still be happy? Too small for them to stay in their for the whole day?

Yes, in that big of a space they'll be fine 24/7. They do like to get out and roam around, but as long as they have what they need in that space it'll be fine, it is big enough.
