Ozzy had a few berries in his beak when he saw a small snake.
Instantly he pecked its head and killed it.

The huge creature was on an old wooden fence post.

"Let's get back to camp!" Rocket clucked
"Good catch Ozzy," Snowberry said with admiration in her voice.

He set the berries and snake down and looked at his Fledger,"I...I pecked its head."
He looked at the snake.
"Is that what I'm supposed to do?"

Ember halted as the creature flapped its wings and screeched.
She stood there , wide-eyed, frozen in place.

"You'll see," Rocket led Ozzy and Snow to a field ringed with wild blackberries. "Get foraging." she ordered

Griffin led Huckleberry, Night, and River toward where he had heard the sound.

He set the berries and snake down and looked at his Fledger,"I...I pecked its head."
He looked at the snake.
"Is that what I'm supposed to do?"

Rocket looked at the snake carefully, "For a small snake, yes. For a large or poisonous snake, you have to be more careful."

Griffin ran toward the forest, flapping his wings so he went faster. He led the chickens to the middle of the forest, where he had heard the screech.

Quickpeck flew at the fox, trying to make it let go of his sister. The fox dropped Rosewing, but grabbed Quickpeck's wing.

Huckleberry rushed toward the fox, not wasting a moment. "Drop my brother, you filthy flea-bag!"
