"Here we are", Ember said excitedly. Out of breath she added more quietly, "Right....There." Her beak pointed to a small nest on a low; thick branch.
After catching her breath she spoke again,"Just stand next to or under the branch. The father should make a warning call, calling the mother. Be prepared."
She looked to the top of the tree where the father was watching.
"Ive seen them attack red-wings."

O zzy took a quick glance at Snow and then started off to the training area in silence.

Chipmunk walked confidently to the place Ember was pointing to, right under the branch. The swallow in the nest made a shrill warning call and another suddenly flew at Chipmunk with it's talons bared. At the last second Chipmunk jumped at the swallow and clawed at its face with his tiny claws

Hmmm. I think I could make some of my birds fledgers....
