I tried to respond to this one last night and apparently something went wrong. Ooops.
I have ducks (including 4 Buff Orpingtons), but I would say without feathers they are likely to need some kind of warmth. But balance that with avoiding fire risk. If I have a late molter or two, it is generally not the whole flock. I also keep them in a shelter that remains at 40F or above for the most part. Maybe upper 30s, but that's as cold as it gets. And they have several inches of pine shavings as well.
