Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

My birds are out in all weather. I have never locked my birds up because of weather. I have however left them locked up for the day because the snow was too deep to get out to them in past years.

My guys are all out in the rain today, taking turns in the various shelters, but don't seem particularly put out by the rain. Now SNOW? That's another story. Poor dears couldn't possibly touch the stuff. A little trail to the water and back is typically all I see in the run in the winter.

my bird brains are always wet, there is more than enough room in the covered run that also has an outside perch and the room in the coop. I always have muddy runs coming all the way down to the house rain or snow! It is my fault though, I usually feed treats right out the back door!

I used to do that too..DH finally put the cabash on that when he stepped in a fresh broody present in stocking feet. He loves his sox's.

RIP, baby.

Stupid BYC won't let me post certain pics. Anyway, I got these girls from Bigfam so I do not know their lineage. I have heard that they do not breed true? It makes sense since the 3 I have are all different looking. 2 have very nice lacing throughout, while the 3rd is almost all black. And the 2 with the lacing have different shades of "gold" from each other. This is the lighter one.
I do not have a gold laced roo.
