Have any of you ever had a problem with gape worm? Does any of you refrain from feeding your birds worms because of concerns they might get it?
Just curious if this is even a problem in the north. I meant to ask this before Lisa's hen got sick.
Personally, my girls follow me around when I'm in my herb garden waiting for me to toss someone a treat. (I get a kick out of watching the ensuing game of keep away)
Besides, unless they spend their entire lives in a wire cage how do you keep a bird from eating worms???
