Good Morning All! Welcome to the newbies! Good people here! Hope you will join us often. Bigz I wasn't feeling very olympic on Mon. but was fine yesterday. I hear ya on the chimney gotta do that myself. Starting to worry about the wood I have left seems me being home all day has increased the usage. Raiq hope the job comes through. Amya Not going to jinx the game by disin them, that will come afterwards. But I will say this. Mr Rothlesberger meet Mr Mathews. He He He! Got an E from my cousins husband he's working up some sketches of a logo for us. Called the guy who did a lot of the major work on the house for an estimate to use for the IRS yesterday. Figured screw it why should I do all the work I'm retired. Another long list day. Better get moving. Enjoy!

I believe I'll be in the New Holstein area. Still working out all the details. I'm looking forward to it and a lil hesistant. I would love to find a horse stable that I could work with or retail shops. I'm not that particular. I have a few friends in that area already so I'm just trying to get a feel for it.

Gentle Afternoon All... Yep I can relate to the wood usage Doc. I know I use between 15 an 20 face cords a season. I managed to put off the cleaning another day. It had a awful nice bed of coals and figure I won't fire at bed time for a cooler stove tommorrow aft.

I think Jim might be looking for some runner ducks. Was someone here lookin to part with any.

Good thing they changed the team picture for the packers to Friday next week so the players on IR can also be in the pic. I can't blame them for wanting to participate.

Sounds like more gun laws are gonna be coming in the future. Time to buy that new Smith&Wesson I've had my eye on!

Hey all! So Bigz... cant Jim get back on here to banter with all of us? That stuff was all before my time.....hopefully he can come back? Oh, my timer is ringing...brb--OK-- the dinner is ready in 20. MMM-smells so good! It is "Chinese manicotti" ( but I used lasagna noodles) with our LO pork. It smells sooooo good! I cant wait! No way I was going to the store just for noodles that would frustrate me anyhow! So It will be more of a lasagna thing I guess..
Went on a horseback ride this evening...my mouth was frozen--I could hardly talk to my neighbor when I saw her! My horse was surprisingly well behaved for not being out in so long. I was pleased.

Hey everyone,


Busy day here. Got woken up today by a helicopter flying over my house multiple times. Then there was a bunch of honking. We live pretty close to Orion and my husband actually works at Tramontina which is also in the old Mirro plant. So we got a lot of noise and commotion this morning when Obama was here. I started some quail eggs today. I have a mix of Coturnix and Buttons in there. My chickens still aren't laying. I'm getting so angry with them. They have heat, lighting, constant food and water, but still NO EGGS! URGH!

I worked with horses yesterday, and will ride tomorrow. I expect one to be good, the other to be a pain. He usually is.

My horses whinnied at me today, wanting treats. In the winter I am the "treat lady". Chickens are doing well.

I had a job interview today at Pump it Up. a kids jumpy inflatable thingy place. I would love this job, so I hope i get it.

OOh--dinner was delish! Sometimes when your plans are canceled for the day it turns out OK! Welcome to all the new folks...just pretend you arent knew and post away--we love to hear stories. Gothchick-hopefully everything has settled down now--darn President! I always get nervous that they are looking for something when I have copters flying above...the last time they were looking for a snowmobiler that had gone missing--not good! Oh yeah then there was that time that I94 buckled and the traffic was all backed up!
Any how--I am glad I am home and I think I am going up to read my book--all my great plans for the day fizzled--at least the ride was nice! Sweet dreams! Terri O
