I'm pretty pumped up for the game. I even took off work tonight(3rd shift) to watch it and enjoy a few barley waters. Still on the look for some chocolate brown egg layers.

Quote: guess what,, the incentive program worked..
Annie found an egg under the roost today,,
It is a full sized egg, so that makes me think there is a hidden nest somewhere..
Neighbor stopped by and gave us a rooster.. now I forget what he called it.. very pretty red and black.. not real big .. I have it in a brooder pen right now,, will take pictures when I turn him loose..I really don't need a rooster, but Brian had one too many ..(roosters; that is)..
I will be going after a pickup load of straw this week,, Probly on Tue or Wed ..
I am under the self imposed belief that kraut should be rinsed well before serving..
I think it would taste more like cabbage, then,,
with the meds I am taking, I am not allowed to eat cabbage .. However, I do sneak in a helping of cole slaw once in awhile..
I can tolerate about a tablespoon of kraut,, it is too salty for my taste.
yup,, also, no grapefruit.. I thought I could cheat a little on the grapefruit.. nope , instantJim, it sounds like you are on the same restrictions as my FIL: reduce your Vit K intake.
No complaints here on the saltiness of the kraut. I have gotten complaints over the store bought stuff though!
Trying to figure out names for these kittens. The tortie is a bit on the shy side, the tuxedo one more adventurous.
Headed to Chicago in a week for training. A nice change of pace!
