As always I've been sitting on the sidelines just reading daily about your lives. Those puppies sure are cute Jim, glad you have them and not me. When I used to raise Terriers, my last litter was 14. Not something I would want to try again anytime soon.
I'm not purposely forgetting others, just have that darn short term mem loss from my stroke so it's not on the page I'm on, I can't go back easily to recall it.
Well the reason I come on is to share my excitement, I even got a high-five from my daughter for it. My Ameracanas started laying again today, the first eggs from them in months. Also yesterday the marans, Orps and other coop are laying some. Now for the BLRW to start again will make me jump up and down. Youngest son said I couldn't start incubating, but I told him that everyone else is starting so if I get the eggs I may start, but thats a big if.
Baby Anellia is doing the best she can given everything. She goes the 18th for evaluation from Birth to 3 and I'm concerned about her mental development greatly. Although sweet, she's a very angry baby and hyper emotional. On the brighter side, she has started smiling. After hours of crying that smile just makes it all worth while. There's been numerous problems with her and I'm told acid reflux is very common in drug exposed babies so now we are trying the Enfamil A R formula, I'm not sure how long you give it time but it's been a week and I see little improvement. She does drink less, but instead of spitting up liquid, it's chunky. I plan on making a call to her pediatrician today to discuss and see if we need to try the Augmentum or give it more time. We have already tried so many different formulas, but Similac Soy, seemed to work the very best so far but it's not covered by WIC. Anyhow, one day at a time. I'll try and get updated pics on here soon.
Hope everyone is doing well, anyone heard from Frenchie? I miss reading the long posts!
