Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

is that ground rabbit as opposed to air rabbit ?

spending a lot of time on the phone today with nurses from different Drs' offices.. they can be so dense when they only half try..
all I am trying to do is get somebody to call my new prescription over to the VA clinic.
I know they can do it because they have done it several times for me in the past..

I keep trying to tell them that I can't just walk into the VA clinic and tell them to give me a prescription..

Then after several phone conversations, the nurse says, " say, why don't I send a note to the VA and tell them what we want"..
Huh ? What ?
Ya think ??
geeze, I wish I would have thought of that ..

Marlene got her incubator problem figured out so she won't have to bring it over for me to work on it..
she is still reluctant to use duct tape.. most people are that way .. oh well..
..........jiminwisc............
not sure...thinking it still tastes like chicken

The ground rabbit is for the cats, it is the entire rabbit minus the gastro-intestinal tract ground up fine so bone chips are not an issue. This is a premium source of protein for cats and it is especially good for cats with kidney issues. Yes they will get it raw with some other essential vitamins and amino acids mixed in and yes this is one reason for the grinders. :D

No road kill rabbits or wild rabbits either, too much potential for unwanted parasitic infection. DH already suggested that. :)

I take it you found a source close to home then to obtain rabbit meat?

Rabbit is very good. Just need to add a bit of fat to the meat. We usually do a slice or two of bacon.

Wait! You can't go into the pharmacy and tell them what you want and get it? Sorry, had this problem with my pain medication. I don't need it all of the time, just once in a while. When I do need it I need it yesterday. Because it is a narcotic I get a rash of you know what when I need it. I might go through a month's supply in 3 to 6 months. So I am really addicted to it.

Not exactly a person who grinds up rabbits for pet food, but a person who is a drop off for another company.

I still have to add extra ingredients like fish oil and taurine, but finding those ingredients is easy, the rabbit was the difficult part. If they enjoy eating raw food, I will then decide if investing in rabbits would be cost effective or not.

Jim, that nurse needed a DiNozzo head slap.

Too bad. I have about 6 wild rabbits in my freezer from a local source. ;) We would've grounded it up for you and beat their price!

On a side note... For those of you in Waukesha County 4-H, we have a GB Packers football and 2 gift certificates for wine tasting parties as prizes for our annual raffle! There will be more, I promise!
