Good morning! That was really funny BL4 on that blu-kote thread! I hope you get your hands clean Becky! You could always tell people that you have so many eggs that you decided to dye them early for Easter!
Good to know how to get it off for next time though...I am sure it will happen to me sometime. That bottle of spray always seems to be clogged and it gets everywhere!
Amyable...that link doesnt work for me--it says that I cant access it. You must have privacy settings enabled.
to the new members/posters! Tasha your kids look cute with that chicken! And only 2!!!
We will have to remedy that situation! Love those nice dark eggs....I didnt think I had any Marans hens but now I am changing my mind...I get eggs like those with the speckles all the time...guess I should find out what chickens are laying them and get them with my Cuckoo!
Mr Buffo is doing great this morning--no crowing yet though...he wants to get his wing out of the sling all the time and that tips him forward so I might have to adjust him today. His leg that pointed back is coming to the front now but the other one is still pretty limp. The toes are coldish too so I might give him a little massage when I get him out. I just dont want to hurt him more. I am thinking that he either has a really bad sprain with pulled tendons etc; or he broke his pelvis or back bones where the legs join on. It is interesting (but a little sick) that you know all about where chicken bones are from eating chicken! I can picture the thin parts of the pelvis and where it could have separated...yeah, I eat a lot of chicken...
Yesterday my DS21 mixed up cookies for me
I couldnt believe he said yes when I asked. He came home from college because his friends were going to the Badger game and he could get a ride. Well, that and he needed $$$! So he mixed up toffee chip cookies, Amish, peanut butter blossoms and molasses. I am waiting for a cherry nougat recipe from someone on here and I will probably do some gingerbread and toasties. I really like the system of mixing them all in one or two days, getting the mess out of the way and then baking them off on another day. I made some cupcakes for desert too...and the MOST AMAZING chicken noodle soup I have ever made! DH was sick so I made up some soup in the slow cooker...I wrote it all down when I tasted it so I can try to make it the same way again...might happen!
Now all that talk has made me hungry! Maybe I will have a bowl of soup for breakfast...then out to do chores AGAIN. Pulling that hose out of the well pump sure tires out a body! Have a fantastic day everyone! Terri O
