Ok, I have to learn to not be so long winded !!! I just posted and lost it all again !!
So here goes again.
Bigz, Didn't realize your surgery was today or I would have wished you luck. So by the time you read this it will be all done and over with !! And no it was not your last supper !!! You aren't getting rid of us that easy !!
DH ET and I are thinking of you and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery and good outcome !!
TO What kinda horse are you selling? No I'm not looking for another one, just being nosey. Would love to see pictures of your horses. Yours to Wcc.
Sorry to hear about the cochin and your daughters heartbreak ! We lost quite a few to predators this year too and I'm afraid with the cold weather coming it might get worse.
Hopefully we will get our runs finished before the snow falls.
As far as a dog kennel top I don't know if you would need to much additional support unless you plan on tarping it with something which will make a heavier snow load.
Years ago I had a huge dog kennel with the chain link top. Each section was 6'x12' and it just had a divider down the middle. The top was actually just like each side panel. But it was very heavy. I don't know if they are made that strong these days? Guess it all depends if you plan on covering it.
Finally uploaded a picture of my new pony Spice. Here it is. See her one blue eye?
Better send this before I lose it AGAIN.
Not the best picture but you get the drift
Chucks new Toy. Think we can catch some bass with it ? We have to get it on a trailer first of course and to the lake !! Minor detail !!! Hopefully the trailer that is at our cabin under an old homemade pontoon boat that my dad made will work !!
Susie J, That egg is HUGE !!! We've had some like that to when they first started laying. I think the sex links and production types lay a bigger egg to begin with so when they lay a Bigger egg they are humongous (sp). I get some nice size EE's but not like some I got in the beginning !!! Wonder if they make a
X Jumbo carton ??
Jim, that is how my Mom always fried fish. Just used Milk, egg, flour, S&P and fried in oil. I don't think she used butter. We mostly had crappies that came out of our lake in Monico. And of course Northern. Once in a while Blue Gills, Sunfish and Pumpkin Seeds ( I think that is what you call them) And if you fished to deep you got the bullheads. Oh and now I guess there are some Walleyes too. Not to many perch. Pelican lake gets some nice Crappies and Perch ice fishing.
I learned how to eat the pan fish with the bones too !! Whoever said it is right. The best part is right by the bones. I've never eaten one with the head on or with the fins still attached. The first time Chuck fried them up for me and served them with the fins I just about died !!! I made him cut them off !! Talk about ruining my appetite !!
I'm getting hungry for some fish now !! Got my fishing license at Fleet Farm tonight and we registered the boat there as well. Very convient. Saved us a trip back to Rhinelander or Antigo to do it, since the DNR is not always open when you need them to be.
Ok, better send this off and get to bed. My sister is coming up tomorrow and I still have to figure out what I'm going to tell her about the new pony !!! Gee Wiz, don't know why I still worry about what my Big sister has to say about things !!!
Keeping you in my thoughts Bigz, will be waiting to hear from you
PS Don't eat to much Hospital Jello, it will ruin your appetite for all those gourmet home made meals !!
