Cind, you need quarts? I have some extras I can part with. I absolutely love your chick pics! They are so darn adorable. I can never tire of seeing little peepers!
Bigz, I'm wishing you all the best for a speedier recovery. But I can just imagine something as vital as sight can never be restored quickly enough.
Suzie, any & all recipes you care to share will always be greatly appreciated! And you are more than welcome to join us any time & post to your heart's content. We love hearing from you.
BCC, glad to see you checking in. Good luck in Portage.
BBP, are those L.I. Cheese pumpkins smooth-skinned? I've heard of the Luminas, but not those. I'm always on the lookout for a good pie pumpkin. If you have a hair salon nearby, making deer repellents out of human hair in a mesh bag (onion) will keep the deer from your crops. I've read deer don't like human scent, and hair keeps it's scent for a long time. I have used them on my fruit & nut tree seedlings for years with great results. HTH.
I have zillions of crows, and plenty of hawks too. What's wrong with my crows, other than being annoying as all heck?

No kidding !!! That ought to be fun trying to catch them !!!
I've got plenty now
but if I didn't I'd be calling !!! Wish my hens would have been able to survive out on the nest.
Yeah, I can just picture you running around with a net trying to catch a bunch of guinea chicks, FT!
Cind, you crack me up. I PMed Deb & she described herself as resembling the Michelin Man this coming winter. I bet she's searching for those battery powered union suits as we speak, poor gal. She is sure in for a wakeup call as to the real meaning of cold. Well, at least they didn't move to ND.
Hope you are feeling better soon, Carol.
TO, sorry to hear your Muskovies are damaging your shed roof.
Nice collection of eggs. My birds have been eating like crazy lately too. Must be packing in on for winter.

Ditto on both thoughts.
Well it didn't rain down here today. Kinda nice actually, albeit cloudy. Got all the peppers picked, & will work on SIS's salsa tomorrow. Still have more pears to pick & can too. I'm kinda glad my apples didn't do well this year because those pears are going to keep me busy. Last year it was all apples. Sure would be nice if they would always alternate years. Yeah, right!
Well, sinus pain is kicking up again. Sweet dreams, all, and stay safe!
