Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good morning! Sounds like you are having fun (and getting lots done) with your new toy DrH! I sure wish you loved closer...I would hook up the flatbed trailer and take a drive and pick up you AND your machine for a day of "playing" in my pasture...can that thing dig post holes too? yup--we could get a bunch done! What are you gonna do when all your stuff is leveled, cut, yanked and tilled under? ROad trip?
clap.gif

Jim I almost joined you here at 3! I seriously considered getting up and checking in...DH turned his snore machine(CPAP) off and he was snoring away...cant stand it. Then the geese made a bunch of noise so I went out to check on them. They all had questioning looks on their beaks like "why are you up?" I told them they better quiet down cause I know somebody who likes geese and I could load them up any time.....So, Robin--you wouldnt mind another 35 or so would you?
fl.gif

Soooo FT--if you have the go ahead to stay until Friday...why not stay "just one more day" and come to the Southern bash?
celebrate.gif
Would your DH be really mad....heck, what's one more day?
hide.gif
Devil's advocate I know...I am sure you have thought of this already? I cant believe that you went all the way to West Bend from Milw and then back to Racine! I hope your appt was way on the NORTH side of Milw! That is a lot of miles...especially at night when you dont know where you are going!
BBP--With my first Toulouse trio I did that with the male! He was the most friendly bird I ever had. He would sit in my lap all the time. When I was outside hanging laundry he stayed right by my feet until I would sit down so he could crawl up for a cuddle! He guarded me from my DH too! He could not even come into the yard if the gander was there! DH threatened to divorce me cause I was cheatin on him! I have a pic somewhere of him in my lap...hah, that was before digital...guess it must be in a photo album somewhere....
Well, guess I am going to try and move around some furniture today...the houseplants need to get near the windows. You can think of me like the person playing with one of those little square games you had as a kid with the numbers you slid around trying to put them in order...that is how I feel when I move furniture in this little house anyways....The house I was in yesterday was fabulous...all open and BIG! I swear there were 14' ceilings! Yeah...more space, more junk! That is what would happen if I had one like that....but maybe there would be at least 2 closets? (I have a total of ONE on my first floor!)

Well, better get at it! Gotta make another pot of coffee...one cup is not going to work for today...Have a fantastic day!
Terri O

Hi , I am up.. made a pot o java and took a cuppa to bed and turned on the TV.. watched an old movie , Farewell To Arms, I think.. then I dozed off a bit..

Gonna be nasty until Friday.. the weather, not me.

I finally charged up my camera.. I couldn't find the cord, so I used my cell phone cord.. it worked, didn't blow anything up..

there is a last auction in Amhurst this weekend.. I just might take all my ducks there.. I have to call Paul K and ask him if the ducks have to be tested ? does anybody here know ? how about turkeys ?

Yup DrH, the key word is don't "forget" . Not long ago I charged up the battery on the tractor.. I set the charger on the rear wheel.. yup. took off with it still there.. Luckily I did not run it over,,,,this time..

I borrowed a post digger once.. sure takes some of the drudgery out of building fence....

we "early bird/night owls" could start our own group.. LOL

3 beautiful exotic pet birds looking for a new home as I have recently acquired puppies that require alot of attention. The description for each is as follows:
1) Male Conure who is only a year and a half old. Conures are a diverse, loosely-defined group of medium-sized to small New World parrots belonging to several genera within a long-tailed group within the New World Parrot subfamily Arinae (re-homing fee of 375.00 OBO). He is extremely playful, gentle and loves attention!
2) Male Indian Ringneck who is 4 years of age. The "glamour" birds of the avian set Ringnecks are beautiful and intelligent. One minute an elegant and aloof exhibitionist; the next a royal jester and confidante (re-homing fee of 210.00 OBO). He is very intelligent and loves people.
3) Male African Senengal who is 9 years of age; he is not tame (re-homing fee of 50.00 OBO).
Serious inquiries only please. If you are interested, please respond back to this add or call me at 608-698-2505. I am flexible on the listed re-homing fees. Please contact me to set up a time to see and handle the birds.

Well I have my service call up in Richland center, gotta go up on Friday.. was pushing for Weds or next week.. so much for that.
Grrrr...

WCc see you have to go to Risland Center. Have a lot of fam there. Half pronounce it Risland, none have lisps but all are middle/ lower income thus the avoidance of the Rich part. Thought about the putting the "tools" in the bucket thing and it made me think that if I pulled up somewhere and had the urge to push something I'd better make sure it was empty first. That could get real expensive real fast! I can't believe how much I got done already. That Ford is already saving me so much time and labor it's unreal! I was a little upset this morning though. I put the root hook on the 3pt and headed out to get that stump out. Tried pushing it first with the dirt bucket, it came right out.

I wanted to play dang it!

TO if you've got the truck and trailer to haul it and feed me a couple of those delish looking meals we're yours for as long as you need us! I'm serious! Jim/ TO I was already looking at a post hole digger for it and few other things. There gonna have to wait. Now that I think of it Donny has a plenty heavy enough trailer just need a good truck to drag it. Think about it TO but don't wait till the ground freezes. And I have to say I wish we loved closer too! Ina chicken way!

My brother found this crying in his yard last night. He could hear more than one for a few days and finally this one came out. He was very hungry. I think maybe something happened to the mother and the others died. Good thing I had kitten replacer laying around.

He is very friendly. He looks scared in this picture because my 9 yr old female cat was growling and hissing at him.

HI, DrH., I caught that loved part too.. I just forgot to mention it..
That TerriO is sure a friendly sort, eh?

I played with my tractor some more this afternoon.. got the whole guinea coop banked up with granite.. that stays beter than dirt, because the chickens do not dust themselves in ggranite.. they sure can undermine a building banked up eith black dirt, though..

I finished the driveway, too.. Now all I have left is the parking area between the house and the garage.. My pile of granite is almost gone..

as long as I had the tractor running, I went down to the garden and knocked all the corn stalks flat.. They will rot up under the snow better than if left standing.. and as long as I was at the garden, I dragged the bucket up and down the ditch line a bit to define where I want to plow a dead furrow so the water from the road does not run across my garden anymore.... The town might be a bit miffed when I do that, but then they should have fixed the ditch when they redid the road..

Annie just yelled down,, the white duck is out. she has a nest somewhere.. I want to watch where she goes ..

goodbye ....jiminwisc..............
