Damp Evening All.... Suzie made a big kettle of Ham and peas soup with fresh garden carrots and potatoes. I'm gonna have a huge bowl for sure.
How did the venzun turn out TO? I though for sure you woulda been braggin about it!

Actually we have 5 house cats FT! I'm just thinkin I'm not gonna spend a couple hours trying to catch one, or pay $ for someone to catch it for me....

Was watching 3 big does in the backyard today. They must be hiding from those randy bucks running around. I noticed most of the apples on the ground were gone this morning....prolly put the camera out tonight and see who's eating them.

Later....time for some soup and garlic bread!

Yeah I know, Cats are a dime for 10 dozen but I think kind of weird someimes, Ok well most of the time.
I had a black cat that looked like that one plus I tought it was a sign that she came up to my truck.
I liked the idea of naming her Lomira since DH and I had our first dinner at Suzies' Resturant in Lomira.
And I hate to see black cats out and vulnerable around Halloween time.

I've been watching CL's Pets and holy cow I can't believe all the cats and kittens let alone purebred, mixed and all sorts of animals. PEOPLE MAKE me SICK sometimes !!!

When I get a pet it s for life. I know there are certainly unavoidable situations but all of those listed can't be !!! Sure wish I could save them all or even some but ............

Hey TO and WCC, there are alot of snakes and turtles looking for homes !!!!

I don't know why I'm even looking. After I quite I snuggle up with Butt dog and think she is enough !!!
Feel real guilty about even thinking about getting another one. Sure wish she wasn't 11 yrs old.

evening everyone, was nice for a bit this afternoon

busy inside today, priming a bathroom that we removed wallpaper from yesterday and tomorrow we will paint it. I am not a fan of wallpaper at all!! The glue on this one was very good- so it took a while to get it all removed......

have 2 more units that need to be gone through and make sure they are ready for new tenants- of course these weren't scheduled to come open until next spring/summer.

Friend of ours stopped by today, they are thinking they had a mink go through their place Sat night and they lost 21 birds and 2 that are now injured

so now they are trying to resecure everything.

Made leftovers pizza tonight. I took a field trip to the Bulk Foods Store in Greenville and picked up some of the plain pizza crusts there. Used up baked chicken and beef roast, added some of the WONDERFUL bacon from Niemuths and of course some yummy cheese from the Wega Star Dairy and Voila'! Gourmet pizza! All I forgot to add was some artichokes!

H&R I do NOT envy you at all. My DH has finally fixed the electrical issue with our kitchen (we did not put the microwave on a seprate circuit, so whenever I would run the toaster, coffee pot and Microwave at the same time we would pop a breaker) but to fix it meant going in through the wall behind the microwave which just happens to be in our bedroom (which is also a work in progress). So everything is now fixed, drywall done and last night I primed the wall. Now all that is left is to scrape the texture OFF the ceiling and then put the new flooring in. Add the doors to the new closet, add some trim and a new light fixture, and then hopefully we can move BACK to our bedroom and have a REAL bedroom with a closet!

I do have some juvie call ducks available if anybody is looking. They are all bibbed, three black bibbed and one grey. I think of the 4 one is a male and the rest are females. PM me if you are interested.

Ok, better run. Back to work tomorrow so I'll be MIA once again.

Yea I think that pyramid is messed up too. Of course having FDA be the watchdogs of our public food health is like having the Fox watch the hen house. IMO I am thinking the rise in food allergies and sicknesses may be (partially) caused by all the processed food 'we' eat, especially since there is so much more processing involved than say 50 years ago. And I also suspect the GMO's. (But I do believe the medical 'industry' has come up with more and better tests) To I wonder if you have more energy because you are not eating all the processed food? I went on a diet once (

right> once) where I couldnt eat any processed food and after about a week I had untold amounts of energy.

Deb I hope that your hubby is feeling better. That sounds very scary.

Yes the Ameraucanas are blue wheaton. I got them that way, in egg form, last year so I don't think they are a mix.

But glad to hear some are having better success with them temperment wise. Yea I like the pic of the barred rock shaking, thats so cool. If anybody hasnt noticed I like playing with my camera a bit. (just a bit) Bigzio yours sounds a bit over zealous

. Well I hope mine's son is better behaved than dad because I have my hopes on him. Seeings how dad was supper last month.

It might have been because he had too much competition last year. Well I have weaned out the roos now so it isnt as hectic.

Dr HaHa thanks for the complement on the EEs. The daddy is goldduckwing phoenix and mama is blue wheaton Ameraucana. They look like they will be uniform in color

. I am hoping they will be. I like them because They probably only weigh maybe 4 pounds and yet lay green eggs. The cockeral got his tail pulled out but we shall see what his tail looks like sooner or later.

Hope you get lots of wood made soon.

I tried to get the chickens to bed early but they would have none of it. So I guess I am going out now to close up.
