That's what I kind of had in mind. I wasn't going to bury the whole thing. I did what you suggested years ago with my 75 gallon pond and made a rock garden around it. It was very soothing to sit by and watch. The person that bought the house pulled it out

A neighbor found out and told me that the new owners would give it back to me.
They kept the smaller pond that I had built up above and had a water fall from.

Just need to decide where it will go. Not an easy task but I do have enough rocks around here !!! Today we have snow !!!

Soggy morning...EarthyLady the link didn't work, took me to some youtube WWF page.

Pretty sure that's not the right one, hee heee.

Jim, I have heard you speak of stacking eggs in your bators. Do you have auto turners? How do you make that work, don't the eggs spill all over the place? I am getting too many Jaer eggs that are pullet-sized, but every other day I get a nice big egg from the older girl; 3 weeks is too long to hold those eggs before the bator has some space. Listen to me, spoken like a true addict.

Ok. I must have done something wrong. I was trying to link using my ipod last might.

Anyway, try this. LOL

YUP, that is my coop, renovated from an old milkhouse we had moved to our place 25 years ago, that was just filled with junk... then guinea madness happened, and then chicken addiction happened... my parents had an old guard house from the foundry at their place my brother had gotten 10+ years ago, just sittin there so we also moved that to our place and renovated the whole thing (that is the green one, i have a before picture somewhere, but not on me today

I am pretty proud of my coops, and lucky to have a handy husband that doesn't mind working his butt off for my addictions...

Just got an email from a couple that bought 7 of my guinea keets last year, they want to return them, as they are bullying their chickens... so as of Sunday night I will have 20 guineas...

Pix of my coops...before and after for the yellow one, and just as after of the chicken coop (the green one.)

Wow, those are nice !!! I'm jealous ! I have truck campers but I live in Kentuck land so I'm excused right !!!

I'm also jealous of your flat land. I live on a ridge so everything has to be built into an incline !!!

WOW WEE thems some beautiful coops! I see what appears to be a can of Red Bull on the 4 wheeler hmmm. Go Go DH! Did that type of renovation to an old shed that was here, lotsa hours and $ for the silly chickens but their worth it.

Better than a dang cat! Bob has decided that my pillow is now his too. EVERYTHING IS HIS! Woke up at 3 something with him purring on top of my head.

12 lbs of purr. Try and move that much dead weight! Claws stickin. EL cuttin back on the grn bean planting this year, gave a ton away and we still have a lot in the freezer. I plant pole beans on a hog wire trellis about 15 ft long gonna plant half beans and half dill on it this year. Will weave the dill into it to keep it upright in a wind storm. It was a good year for cuc's, tomatoes came late and peppers didn't do very well but got enough for freezing/cooking. Had around 40 jars of various pickles. Relish, sweet pickles, dills, and mustard pickles. Love em all! Need more jars! The one remaining jar of dills is going to Ks end of next week for the oldest DD's white coat ceremony. When she was here last fri her and her sister opened a jar of warm dills sitting on the shelf after polishing off one from the fridge. Gave me a chuckle! Just got back from hauling in the alum cans and the copper from the plumbing renovation $114, filled the tank at $3.84/gal think I timed it right this time. Very unusual. AND money left over for....... you guessed it beer!
