First thanks for the garbage man update.Glad you got a company to do it for you.Atleast he was good for giving the name of them.
Your mailbox is beautiful.You could sell those online for some side cash. I am trying to picture your beautful box in between all those crushed and rusted ones leaning off to the side on a loose stand.Lol. I hope you get a picture of it one day,so I can see if it matches what I am thinking.
I have a plastic green mailbox,but the post is loose due to the snow plows. I may take the bottom off an leaking 5 gallon bucket,burying it most ways down around the post,and fill it up with concrete.Boy, those concrete bags are heavy.If I had problems with vandals I would use a steel post and/or brick for the mailbox!
Again,best wishes whatever you decide to do with the vandals.Not sure I would want ANY of them around my home even if I got them doing the most discusting of all chores.
