Thoughts on wonder powder good bad? I ha e always been told to use it on chickens and i did this morning but the more i read the worse the facts are.

It's 70 or 71 % lime, so pretty caustic (alkaline). I wouldn't use it on birds. If you need to stop bleeding there are less caustic blood stop products whose main ingredient is ferrous sulfate, you can also use corn starch, flour or turmeric powder. Combs can bleed a lot, but generally heal up quickly.

Yes it was bleeding a lot and I had to go and I was in a hurry so I just put some in it on her without reading and it stopped within 2 minutes

It probably didn't do any long term harm, but I would not recommend using it again. I would use something else next time.

Ok. Can you or someone tell me why it says causes cancer? And how does it cause ot? Just curious I dint realize till after the fact

According to the safety data sheet it contains crystaline quartz silica, which is identified as a human carcinogen.
