Does anyone have any tips on how to teach these guys to eat if I don't hear back from them tomorrow?

I have yet to hear back from the rehaber...
Can someone please tell me how I make sure they are eating? I have dipped there bills in the water and then food every now and then but im trying to not touch them as much as possible since there wild.
They just keep running to the back of the brooder when I look in.

Wood Ducks are so Beautiful ! I hope you have good luck caring for them , sad that they got seperated from their Mother though I wonder if left alone if she would have came back for them .. Any way I hope they calm down and are fine .

And of course I dont know where to find one of those...
I really hope this rehaber gets back to me.
How are they doing today? Do you know anyone who has young ducklings at the moment, they maybe able to teach these little ones to eat and drink.

We did try that, I left them in a heated crate for about four hours in the spot where they hatched. Mom never came back and they never left :(

I dont know anyone, I have posted on cragslist and heard nothing :(
I am still looking though, and about to post on BYC as well.
They are doing well, I saw a few take a drink but thats about it.
I am going to go out and get some small crickets, I read that that stimulates eating?

If they are tiny I would stick with just the starter they probably are still just having some anxiety issues . Wood Ducks are incredibly desirable and very expensive to buy .. I wish I had a pair I would love to have tons stay close by so Beautiful !

Wouldn't a domestic duckling of any breed work? Like what you could get from a feed store? I know mine don't have any anymore due to Easter being over, but that may not be the case everywhere.
