OMG, so tiny!!!!

You had 5 set, right? How are the other 3 doing?
These aren't my 5 for world egg day I set them on 9-21-12 with yall. I have 11 more left to hatch 5 from W.E.D. and 6 more with 2 hatch dates and have 4 more I'm putting in tomorrow. This is my third hatch but I only put a few in at a time I only have 1 hen laying so I will save them for a few days and put them in the bator. LOL I'm already hooked lol but I've only had chickens for about 4 months. Hopefully all my other hens will be laying soon they are all close to laying age and 1 was laying but she stopped a few days after we got her I guess because she is new to her surroundings

Congrats on the babies!!!

Gotta love the little peepers!!!

Okay guys, I need some pics entered in the Egg Photo Contest. Free hatching eggs to the winner.

OK, that sound so awesome, hatching your own chicken's eggs! it's going to take all I got not to do that, LOL. I won't have room for them then! (Oh oh, I'm counting my chickens before they hatch

I can't wait to see sarama chicks, they're gonna be so small!!!! (Ugh, I have GOT to stop counting chickens before they hatch!!!!)

I always do that! Though it's been proving very disappointing with these shipped eggs. $50, and all I got was one chick because of shipping, almost all of the air sacs came ruptured. I know it was the eggs and not the incubator because I also put 5 of mine in and all of them developed and 4 of them hatched Now for this batch, I only see veining in three of them. I don't think I'll ever buy shipped eggs again, but I don't know where else I can find these birds. Maybe I'll have to try a hatchery, I'm just worried about quality...

The closer you can get shipped eggs the better. I haven't seen anyone with Serama eggs for sale around here, but have discovered there are a lot of serama people in California! These birds were so beautiful though, and I'm short on money so I am really hoping I can get some beautiful birds out of this batch?!?! The other breeder I bought from is semi close (600 miles vs 1700) and I'm hoping for better luck. She has really cute seramas too, so I'm hoping I can maybe save 2 roos from the first breeder to breed with the second breeder's birds. And if I don't end up with as many birds as I was hoping for, hatch a few more...??? We'll see...
