World Egg Day Hatchalong!(October 12, 2012 is World Egg Day!)

3 out of 12 already hatched. 2 more have started to crack their shells. All early. Yeah. I have today and tomorrow off so I get to watch the rest myself

I have a pip and heard a peep, but humidity was down in the 50's overnight plus it got really cold. I don't know how long the temp was so low (95-ish) so I don't know if they'll survive

Why does this happen the night before? Was so close! At least it wasn't my Serama eggs, they got down to 97, which isn't nearly as bad, but still... not gonna look at them until later when it's warmer.

Oh well, live and learn.

I have 1 pipped and 1 zipping now so excited the 1 zipping is coming out fast Hatching 1 day early

I'm sure they will be fine just warm them back up mine have went to 95 a couple of times the past 2 weeks till I got a thermostat and I have 1 hatching now and all my other ones are doing great

Congrats to everyone whose babies are starting to hatch! I am still waiting on the second half of my hatch..they are due tomorrow, not got any action yet. The first little one which hatched from the first half (Autumn) is doing well. She is a gorgeous little thing! I'll get some photos of her tomorrow. Got to work today, so photoshoot will be a bit delayed.

Oh yes, I really want to see more pictures of Autumn!!!

My little duckling egg, Buster, was due to hatch on Monday. He wiggled for a couple of days and stopped moving. I finally candled him yesterday and it looks like he did not make it

I was really getting attached to the little guy. I am not sure if my incubator was running too low or if the heat spiked to much last week. It's so sad to lose a little baby. Hoping everyone has healthy hatches this week. Good luck everyone
