Yeah she is friends with the other person's. Told me she comes off abrasive. No kidding! But that does not mean I have to take it. I have tried to be nice but she just gives me dirty looks so I just stay away from her.

You have more courage than I have; I would have quit by now. Hope you get plenty of info over time to show this is an on going situation. ANd maybe in the mean time someone offers you a dream job!!

Arielle I have considered quitting several times. I know the owners were not aware of what was going on with the floor super. This floor super is the reason they cannot keep people there. I talked to several people who used to work there and the stories are all the same. They get sick of the floor super and her attitude and the bumpers attitude and they just put in their notice and quit. A few have said they talked to the owners but nothing changed. I doubt that they did talk to the owners because they had talked to the super about her attitude with me.

I had the opportunity to go back out on the road in my field of experience as a heavy equipment operator but it meant traveling all over the state and being gone for days on end. At least with this job I am home every night.

SInce this job is your first choice, I praying it works out . Might be a bit of time to straighten this situation out, and definitely all the record keeping will show the character of these people and when you present it to the owners, you will then see their character. Glad you have a place here to spew as I'm sure you have choice words you would like to say to the super and the bumper. KEep up the good work!!

You may or may not find this useful. A friend of mine got sick of her husband's bad attititude. There were days he was itching for a fight and she didn't want to deal with it or his negativity. Now, whenever she sees him scrunch up his face in a scowl, she sweetly asks him if he feels all right. She tells him it looks like he has a headache and suggests he take an aspirin. Might not work for your coworker, but it takes the starch out of my friend's grumpy husband.

What is weird is when this person is around the other 2 trouble makers she is just nasty, but today away from them she was actually pleasant. I don't trust her though.

Found out from a co-worker I trust these others are going to start complaining about me to the bosses in hopes of running me off or getting me fired. As soon as the owners left on a trip this week, talk about nasty attitudes! Yeah I documented everything! Yes they know it too! I no longer hide it and boy are they paranoid.

I got so sick of their attitudes I actually lost my temper. I rarely lose my temper now a days. the nasty one actually interfered with my doing my job. the super came up to afterwards and had the nerve to tell me to chill out and we all need to get along and work together. What a hypocrite!
I know they are going to go to the owners tomorrow when they are due back so I plan to print off my files on them and have them on hand in case the owners say something.

You'd better go to the owners right away. Otherwise they'll be the only ones talking to them. And take youre info you've saved too.

You have a good plan to keep the files handy. My suggestion is that you ask the owners to see them at their earliest convenience BUT don't ask first thing upon their arrival UNLESS they ask YOU. THey need time to settle back into work, and they have a pile of stuff to catch upon. .

Keep it very polite; not desperate but very professional and cool. Like you are in control. YOu know, the duck anaology-- serenly gliding around the pond and paddling like h--- beneath the waters.lol

You can't control the others, just continue to present yourself as a professional. WHen it is your turn, explain that the situation has continued and actually became worse not better. Especially once owners went on vacation. Acknowledge that you lost your temper and you never do that. Remember to mention all the good things you like about working for the company, you know the good things that the owners like to hear from emplyees that support the comapny. ( Like serving the customers.. . . that sort of thing.)

Their attitudes will eventually bite them in the butts. Continue to be patient.

It was so bad yesterday morning Arielle I almost walked out the door for good. I have told the owners how much I like working for them before. They know I am willing to jump in and help at any time they need me, they have seen me jump in and start bagging or checking customer through even when I was clocked out.
I actually had a customer tell me that this floor super and other co-worker are the reason the store cannot keep people. Customer will not tell the owners though. I wish they would.
