Wounded cayuga duckling

Here she is this morning getting her antibiotic. There is still redness visible on her skin below the wound area. I dont know if that's normal or not? Can some one take a look and tell me. All of the skin on her back/butt below the wound is red. The wound scabbed over much better after pulling the first scab off. Looks a lot more sealed up. Dont know if that's a good thing. But it looks on better.

Should I give her the antibiotic 3 times a day? It not getting any better. Actually seems to be getting worse. She feels hot and sweaty to the touch. And the red has gotten brighter. I also dont know what to do about her limp. It's also getting worse. I noticed shes putting her weight on her other leg and hardly using the wounded one.

It's been the same size this hole time. Its right on top of her thigh joint. So I think it's just the knuckle of her thigh joint that makes it look round. Feeling it compared to the other side it feels the same........
