no pus or bad odor or anything. But these vain like trundles pulled out with it? And it was a lot longer than the last one that I pulled off. What is this? I put a syringe in the hole and flushed it with saline and it dint wash out any dis colored anything, it was completely clear. I also kinda thought maybe it would puff up with fluid where it might need to be drained but it didn't. Just puffed up at the skin right around the wound. Here's the scab and the yuckyness that pulled out with it and the wound. I'm going to up the antibiotic, because I read in an duck article some where that ducks must have antibiotics every 4 hr for it to stay in there systems at a helpful level. I think it said because of there high metabolic? Dont quote me on that. But I'm hoping that will get her till Friday morning when I can take her into a vet!
Ok I'll try to look closer and pluck some feathers away. Do you know any videos that would show how to lance open a drainage area? This area looks worrisome to me:

I don't know of any videos, but if what I suspect is true, you might not need to lance. What I mean by that is it looks like that area of skin might slough off, which would be good.Ok I'll try to look closer and pluck some feathers away. Do you know any videos that would show how to lance open a drainage area?
Ok I like that news.... What is slough off?
