The crabapple tree is in full bloom. Standing under the tree it sounds like you are inside a bee hive.

Beautiful pictures! Garden of Eden. Did the peach tree you bought last year survive? Mine has quite a few bloom buds this year but none have opened yet.

That wouldn't be the wild turkey hen that used to show up every spring, would it? :hmm

Nope, that turned out to be a very expensive peach. However the 2 peach trees that came up from discarded pits both survived the winter.

No I am sure the original wild hen is deceased. This one is definitely a different and younger one. Perhaps this one will renew the tradition. She just now avoided a squabble as my ten year old hen decided to put her in her place.

That is debatable. It isn't good for the allergies and at least one of the beautiful blooms really stinks. But you have to have the blooms if you are going to get the fruit.
