Wyoming Unite!!!!

You're making me think of Thanksgiving, I can almost smell that turkey roasting now :drool
I offered him to you. I told you that you could invite him to Easter dinner. All you had to do was send your husband to pick him up.

He will be very good. He has a nice layer of fat everywhere under his skin and will be self basting. He also has a larger than normal breast for a heritage turkey. He is from my line of Blue Slate turkeys that one time produced a turkey with the broad breasted gene.

February is half over. Come on spring!!! :wee

Hope you are all having a nice Valentines day. I made cupcakes for the man and he brought home fresh trout for me. At our age that's the best we can do! :( :lau

Trout and cupcakes sound good to me...enjoy!

It is 41°F, so I moved the tomato plant and one of the bell pepper plants out ot the greenhouse. It is 91°F in the greenhouse and that is with the east door wide open.

And now you'll be able to watch tv without a tomato plant in front :gig

I can see the TV without any obstructions. I had to move the Aloe plant because I needed its tub to move the other plants without dripping everywhere. Who would have thought that the Aloe plant would weigh more than the tomato plant?

all i have to say to you Wyomingites - Brrrrrr...!! i lived in Powell for years in the 90s but not with chickens.

Hi Ernie! I've kept a flock in Florida and now one in Wyoming and all I'll say is...keeping chickens in FL was easier in the winter! At least for me. :)
