My recent visitors - snowflakes! Grrrrr

My most recent precipitation was 1/4" of rain which cause these to show up.

I have 5 week old chicks, 4 week old chicks and 2 4 week old ducklings. When would it be ok to put them in coop with my 3 older hens? I'm in Riverton.

It depends on what temperature you have acclimated them to. My brooder is in the coop and chicks, poults and keets usually get to spend two weeks in the brooder. This last batch got to spend three weeks in the brooder and are now in the grow out pen. They do have a supplemental heat lamp especially at night but warm days like today the heat lamp gets shut off.
