These were supposed to be Delaware's but apparently there has been crossing going one behind my back. He's not quite 4 weeks old and look at the legs on him.

Sorry about your hatch results. I got 38 out of 47 in the last hatch. Would have been better but I bumped the turner a little too hard while candling and several of the eggs fell out of the rack. If you're going to see your brother soon, I've got 4 khaki campbell ducklings that are 4 weeks old that I need to sell off.Dumb forum and it's dumb not informing me of updates. I'm soooo behind. I only got 8 to hatch. I really suck at incubating. A bunch died early on and I think 4 died at the very end before hatching. One broke out of the shell and busted a vein on the belly button and bled out. I tried to stop the bleeding, but it wouldn't stop. So, pretty depressing. The 8 that hatched are pretty cute. Unluckily, the three cream legbars are all males.~ I'm going to see if I can sell them for a dollar or two a piece. Maybe someone wants a roo. The two ducklings (only ones that were fertile, so obvs having a fertility issue with my drake) are in lockdown. One is internally pipped.
Do you check their ligs? I don't bother to check frequently unless the udder got noticeably bigger that day and ligs are gone.OMG! If these goats don't have their babies soon, I'm gonna be a zombie! We put a camera in there yesterday so we could watch them at night, but with the storm there was no connection! So, I would walk out to the goat pen every few hours, in the rain, 0nly to find them peacefully sleeping! Rascals! And, to top it all off, the chicks are hatching and the renters are coming in an hour and I have sooooo much to do and all I want to do is take a nap!
On a good note, I am now down 17.6 pounds since November 28th! Yay! Only about 15 more pounds to go! But, I am now back into size 8 pants! Somehow, I don't think that at age 66, I will ever get back into 3-4s! But size 6 sounds doable!
I can only check Bailey's ligaments. She was bottle fed so loves to be hugged and touched. She still has them. Heidi was not bottle fed and hates being touched! Except to scratch her head. I can't get close to her ligaments! LOL! Udders are getting bigger each day, but they don't look huge like I've seen on the internet! So, hopefully I can just get some sleep tonight.....ooops, I forgot, I have chicks hatching....6 out so far. I stay awake and write down which chick hatches out of which egg! Ugh....another sleepless night!Do you check their ligs? I don't bother to check frequently unless the udder got noticeably bigger that day and ligs are gone.
You never can tell. All three of mine had twins and one barely looked pregnant. So I'll guess twins for both.Heidi is the white goat....I am thinking twins because she is carrying in her side and her underbelly. I think Bailey, the brown goat, will only have one. These were taken about two weeks ago. What do you guys think?View attachment 1317907 View attachment 1317908 View attachment 1317909 .
