YO GEORGIANS! :)

Thank you Viollettt and GaFarmGirl87 . If anyone in south Georgia has any chickens close to or already laying , im looking to buy some. I would like some buffs or red stars or any other good laying but dual purpose birds. Thanks

Ugh! I am out of town and my chicks have started hatching 2 days early! My DH is having a fit...not knowing what to do! If I leave now, I won't be home until 2 am! It's gonna be a long night!

Oh no! I'd offer to go over and help out but I'd really just end up panicking along side your DH! I hope all goes well though!! Can't wait to see baby fluffy butts!!

Thank you so much! Those are some perty chickens you have there.

This lady bought the Star Cochin line from a couple that bred Cochins for 20+ years and they won shows left and right. I hatched eggs from her in May and have some beautiful birds. Here are couple of picks of my blues at 9 weeks.

My hen Minnie

Danny Boy...his type is actually very good. He's stretched out looking at the camera in this pic.

Pearl...although I think Pearl might be Pete.

Ok, Georgia neighbors, here are the types of chicks/chickens (pullets only) that I am looking for: 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Welsummer, 2 Speckled Sussex, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 1 Silver Laced Cochin, 1 Australorp, 1 splash BLRW, 1 BLRW, 2 Faverolles, 1 blue copper Marans and one white cochin. Anyone have these to sale? Would like 8 months or younger! Thanks!
I have a silver laced Wyandotte and probably a rir pullet I could let go.These are heritage standard bred birds not from a feed store.

Wow...thanks for all the info! They actually ran out from under my porch so I think i can set up the trapping trick pretty easily there. Thanks for passing it along!
Thanks!

Good luck. Remember they are nocturnal so they are probably under your porch all day. They will be out rooting like a pig after dark so you can find them and shoot them if you are willing to stay up and watch for them. They don't move fast. I don't stay up that late any more so I send my grandson and son-in-law out to do my night work.

You're welcome...hope you find some great chicks! And thanks for the complement. I'm really happy with them. :)

Lol...that's a good idea! Maybe I can talk my son into sitting on my porch one night this weekend.
