I really enjoyed it. It was a LOT to take in, especially since I'd never been to anything like it. I was sad about our timing though; we got there just before lunch and there were lots of drawings/raffles to enter (particularly in one Marans tent.. Eggs, trios, etc), but the drawings weren't until 4pm and I just didn't plan to stay that long. I thought things/people would be packing up after lunch but it didn't seem so.
Some things were pretty spread out. There was a LF tent I REALLY wanted to go in but they had the whole tent blocked for judging..? Which seemed strange. The other tents they just blocked a row at a time. We didn't go back to see but I wish we had. There were some impressive crows coming from that one!
I learned bantams are a HUGE market. Bantams EVERY_WHERE. I never would have guessed. Which is one reason I'd like to try a bantam breed for a bit and see what interest is there.
Overall I really enjoyed it. I was sad DS got upset over not having a rabbit
but he turned it around. I think it was a lot to take in for him too.. He just had too much to choose from when we said a chicken was ok and couldn't choose anything! LOL
