You Know You're a Northerner When...

Oh, and my DD said yesterday ( in the 20 degree temps) that she Loves Massachusetts and will never move out of it ;)
We lived in TX for 2 years... that was a mistake
My best friend lived there for a year. It's good for a vacation, but she lived there almost a year and dispised it. Now she lives here again.

Oh! I saw the topic and thought..."that's gotta be Banty!". Sure enough! :frow
I still think Delaware qualifies as "North".
I am amused by the thermostat conversation. Hubby is installing all the new Google apparatuses/Nest and I'm freezing!!!! I think he's doing it because he knows I can't work technology. So far we have 20 something nights and 35-40 something days.

Oh...Banty....I ordered Sultans!!!! Should have em in the Spring.

You know me too well. :D I still think Delaware might as well be Florida---40 degrees in December??

Awesome! How many? Sultans are great little birds.

Off-topic aside from your post on the hurricane thread: I had to throw out most of my kitchen supplies when I went GF, including my stoneware. :hit It was aged perfectly.

Evening all! I've gone cross-eyed from wrapping gifts...and trying not to kill the cat for wrecking it all!

@ Banty - I ordered 3 Sultans (and 2 Buff Silkies...waiting on Partridge to become available). I'm already up to 20 something bantams and didn't want to push my luck with the hens' comfort/health regarding space. We did do two major coop extensions this summer and fall but I think the Sultans will turn out bigger than any of my present girls....we shall see. I'm excited!

With regards to gluten free...I know Penny poo-poo'd the comment, but my office mate swears by the RD's comments. She wound up getting her daughter her own set of cooking items (it also helps the daughter went off to college this year) and she has done much better without the cross contamination. I'm so sorry about your stoneware! I don't cook but the hubby would die if he had to toss ours and pretty much any other kitchen item - especially the cast iron.
