I think I found a new bullhead fishing spot!!

You and however many people with boats are in Nebraska. Well, that might not be so many folks.

One thing Nebraska does have is thousands of acres of grasslands - the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge in the Sand Hills area has the largest natural stand of prairie grasslands left in the US, and it is very impressive. They also have many small sloughs that are seasonal in the spring, but unlikely to have fish. And the Missouri River passes through as well.

Also I just learned Nabraskie, is home to 2 dozen Southie style lakes and some have water year round!!

Amazing isn't it! I'm not big into fishing, but I do know a lot of fishermen like Lake McConaughy, Nebraska's biggest lake. Most people fish for walleye there, but it's also home to several different varieties of bass, catfish, buffalohead and several other kinds of fish including the crazy looking paddlefish, rainbow trout, and pike!

Actually quite a few people with boats.
And if no boats, rafting or tanking down one of our rivers is fairly popular. I've been rafting but not tanking. I'd like to try sometime though, cause I mean doesn't floating down a river with a picnic table sound fun?
And the Sandhills are one of the most beautiful places on Earth in my opinion! I actually didn't know that it was the largest stand!

Alright, what is a popple and what is Lutefish?
Is it similar to our "charmin snappers?"
We call them Charmin due to they turds and junk. Fish that never leave Marina and just eat handouts and well, turds from live abords who do not pump out on a normal basis.
In the last 10 YEARS, Dock Master and Marine Patrol have fixed the problem.

I have eaten them, in Southie ville, but not that impressed.

I would rather eat the fish that eats them. I am willing to bet there aren’t 5 places in the whole state you could find a meal of them.
