i think i picked a roo and a hen when i chose to add 2 more chicks to my flock. does a roo have to be high up in the "pecking order" to cockadoodledoo? there are 5 16week old hens and 8 week old pullet and maybe roo... if he can keep his beak shut i can keep him... if he's gonna be noisy then he'll hafta go... but not until im positive it is a he.
