Your Designs For Cold Weather Covered Runs?

Thanks for the ideas. We may try the tent idea- lots of things like that are really cheap at the local thriftstore warehouse. Being in an urban area, the girls are in the coop during the work day, let them out to stretch their legs in the evening and on weekends. That's why we want to create a bigger "sunroom" for them

Click on my signature and you will see what I did. Right now though it is being used as an extension to the hen-house run. I built a connector tunnel to the other run to give the girls more outside room. It's main purpose is for growing out juveniles when needed.

We wrap their run with clear pvc tarp in the winter. They can see out, get sun, and keeps the severe wind and bad weather out.

No all that big. It's a refurbished playhouse 8'x8'.
