That's exactly why I wont consider Suede as the main flock rooster, LOL.
DH brought Zane out into the sun, sat him on the ground, and was massaging his back, up and down his spine. DH has had back surgery and has degenerative disc disease (some discs are just gone now) so he's familiar with massage, and at one point, he must have hit a certain spot, because Zane abruptly jumped up and walked a few steps. I think a Roo-massage is in order daily for awhile. He can barely walk but if DH squats on the ground and holds out his hands, Zane will hobble into his daddy's arms. That rooster is very special so we'll give him every chance to recover. I figure by the time my broody's chicks hatch in just under three weeks, we should see improvement in Zane, at least some, if there's going to be.
