If you have one that would go nicely with her I would take it. Miss hearing crowing in the morning. It has to be nice though. Can have on that will be chasing me around my yard all day. Lol
If you have any other chickens you are looking to re home let me know. I can't figure out what I want or where to even start. So many choices, but I have to keep it small this time.
I've been on. Life has been crazy. Nursing school took up a ton of my time. Plus I've been working two jobs and was helping take care of my neighbor until he passed. So much has happened in a year. Now I find myself with nothing to do until I get my date to take my RN license exam. The school...
Do you still have the chocolate orp? It's been forever since I've been on here. Had to get out of chickens for awhile but now I'm trying to find a couple. Think my husband may kill me, but he will learn to live. With finally graduating RN school I find I have way to much time on my hands...
It has a dot so guessing rhodie male. Ill check the legs later. The little sick one didn't make it through the night. Poor thing. :( But I guess nature takes care of things itself. Thanks for the help.
Urg. Well took all the pictures earlier and then just went up and found a. Poor little one who can't stand and the others poked its eyes out. Poor little thing. Can anyone explain this to me? I have never had this happen before.
Thanks. I have had horrible luck with any babies and it is my first year with them when its cold out. I need to buy chicken wire and 2x4s to enclose my kids old toy box and put the babies in there from now on instead of all the totes. They out grow them quickly. Hopefully I can get it done soon...
Thank you. Now that I can finally hatch I need to learn how to keep babies alive during the cooler seasons. I have 8 total and they are in my daughter's room because I'm scared of putting them outside. They are large fowl so I have to figure out when they can go out in the coop.
Lol I love it... my husband not so much because I can't stop filling it up. I ended up with 8 babies and 3 eggs I left just in case. Its amazing because Idon't even watch the temp or humidity just throw them in. It is worth every penny. So is the brooder. Hehe I almost burnt down my garage with...
the broody was being a good mama until yest. My kids left a chicken out last night too and they had a mess to clean up this morning. It is not the first one they havve missed but from what they had to clean up I bet it is the last. I'm going to try and keep the new babies in my daughters closet...
Tomorrow is hatch day and so far I have a basque and a rhoodebar pullet. I have another rhodebar pipped and a swedish flower hen pipped. Only one isbar egg made it to lockdown :( Guess when I get home I might have 4 new babies. Keeping them in the house because I've lost to many to the weather...
