Thanks! Professionally trained but not actively professional. When I was in art school, it was all darkroom photography though. Digital cameras were just starting to creep into the market. Now I mostly take pictures as a hobby but have done some small jobs now and again when someone asks.

One more of my buff brahma, Poppy. Then I'll leave you guys alone, promise! I don't think she's laying yet. I've lost count of how old she is though, 23-24 weeks I think. She's such a big girl, much bigger than my other standard birds of the same age.

Their legs are green, almost gray or black in one or two - not yellow as compared to any other picture of a brahma in this thread. Look again at this pic.

Yeah, learned that one too when I got EE last year. It turned out I didn't need it because they were all pullets but it's good to know. But with these brahma's non-standard combs, I'm up a creek. I don't know what they are in more ways than one, lol.

What are 'vulture hocks' and 'squirrel tail'? I've heard those words thrown around but don't know what they mean. I know vultures pretty well, being one of my favorite birds but I don't see any vulture in your rooster, lol. And I've never seen brahmas offered at TSC. Seriously?
