Rats are truly awful and can give a prolonged period of attack. They can burrow under coops and runs. IMO they are the worst and most difficult to eradicate.
If a mouse can fit it's head through a gap the rest will follow. Thats smaller than 1 inch. A snapdragon is a great way to catch and kill them. Just keep them covered and away from your animals!
