I like this idea for a brooder, but there isn't any explanation how to build it. It seems like it would be a great idea for some though!

It's a neat idea, but I'd want to incorporate something like plexiglass so you could see them as I would want to be able to see them better. Maybe for a quick fix in a pinch though this would work. A few more pictures of how this stuff looks when you bought it and of the inside of it would help too.

So much could be elaborated on further, or links provided. For instance, for your sentence about cold-hardy chickens, a link to an article here or on the internet about which ones are more cold-hardy would be helpful.

The part about "consider" lighting the coop should be changed a little as it is controversial. Maybe something a little lighter like, "If you would like to try get your hens to lay more in the winter, you may want to consider adding additional lighting." Then put a link or two about supplemental lighting in there.

The things you discuss here are great, just more information should be added or links so the reader can research that particular thing.

It looks great but we need more pictures especially of the inside. More build details would be useful too for anyone like me with very few carpentry skills to be able to try to build this.

1/2" hardware cloth should be used to keep predators out. Rats alone can get through what you're using there. Some explanation how you built this would help too.

It seems small though for as many chickens you want to have in it. That can lead to issues like feather picking.

This could have used more explanation of how you built it for someone else who'd like to try.

Nice and secure coop and run. Too small for your 10 chickens though. Maybe about half that many. Nice blueprints! I would still be using 1/2" HWC (hardware cloth) on the welded wire fence as a rat can get through an opening the size of a nickel.

Attractive coop and great ideas for keeping costs down. Need to finish this though and get photos of the inside.
