Very nice! The links to pictures in the narrative portion are broken now. It's been over a decade since you posted this so if you're around, it'd be great if you could fix those!

You did! Thank you! Way better! Added a star. ⭐

Thanks for the heads up, I've tried to fix it, hope it's working better now.

Very nice job and I giggled at a few of your comments. That made this more of a fun read.

How did it work though? Update with hatches you've had or the hatch rate.

Very nice use of something many of us wouldn't have thought of!

As others said, a wiring diagram is so helpful, as well as a parts list. You did sort of hit the parts list a bit though. Try pretending you had to build this from your instructions and photos.

Looks good but did it work? This maybe needs updating as it's one thing to build it, but another to show it really works. Then you could state what changes you'd have made too.

We're always asking for electrical diagrams but that doesn't mean something real technical. Someone just scratched it out with a pencil where wires went and that was good enough!

Nice job. The pictures are great but have that Photobucket logo all over the top of them. If you could replace those by saving them on your hard drive or on your phone, then upload from there, they'd be so much better.
Huge incubator and very complicated looking. More information on how to build this would help a ton!

This is really neat! It would be so much better with a wiring diagram and instructions how to build it.

A very nicely done article about a DYI incubator. Great pictures and explanation. The parts list was very nice and it was great of you to post the results to show it really does work! Great job!

More instructions and the small text needs to be changed to the same as the rest as it's really hard to read even on a PC. Otherwise, good job!
Not finished.

Links to how to cut nails and spurs would be helpful as would links to other things you state should be done.

If you complete this, send me a message and I'll rerate it.

This is an excellent example of a super duper homemade feeder. Great explanations and love the plexiglass addition to it! Great pictures too and love the little helper!

One of the most thorough homemade incubator articles I've seen, even including the hatch rate. Great photos and explanations as well as some good links too. Excellent job!

Good explanation how to make this, but I too would like to know where you found metal nipples and do they last? Plastic ones take a particular drill bit as torching them would melt them. You might want to explain both methods of installation depending on what type of nipples we purchased as the vast majority will be the plastic kind.

I really liked your article. You did great to explain the materials needed and how you built this. Great pictures!

You do need to let us know how it worked though!
Helpful for beginners wanting to enter 4-H and FFA shows.

Pictures definitely would help, even if funny, like trying to cut the nails of a chicken or bathing/drying a chicken, et cetera.

Can you have your mom tell you how she registered you for these shows so you can explain a little bit about that too?

Love the list of terms and link to them all. Very helpful. You can also add a link to other articles here that cover chicken preparation. That would be helpful too.

Edit: Changing my rating since you're making suggested changes. ❤️

Very nice coop and run!

A little bit more explanation of how it was built would help someone else. Also, in the beginning there are about three photos with broken links.

This is great for a chicken tractor by day, but hope you got your coop built for at night.
