Good use for a playhouse you are no longer using! Definitely for small birds only. It look nice and seems safe for them. Great job!

It was repurposed for only 3 silkies. All openings are covered securely with hardware cloth, however, it was an overkill, since it is in a 10x13 run that is completely covered with hardware cloth including a two foot apron.

This is a wonderful article on pesticide use and how it can negatively impact our birds. When at all possible, avoid all chemicals on lawns and gardens that your birds may come into contact with. Great article!

I love this article! Far too many people think you can release birds into the wild that they have hatched or raised. Young birds imprint on humans. If not naturally raised by their own mothers, they have no idea how to find food or water, where to roost at night, being raised by humans they are completely reliant on them for survival. Its inhumane to relase captive bred or raised birds. Wonderful article!

Nice tractor! Very neat and tidy. You could have gone into a bit more detail on the finishing but it's still quite easy to follow. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, you did a fabulous job, I bet the chickens love it! I would however put hardware cloth on your windows, chicken wire is extremely flimsy and any night time marauder can bust right through it, I've had it happpen. Love your photos, lots of descriptions on how you built it, wonderful article!
