I'm in Nashville and I have to have a permit to keep chickens. It costs $25/year. They also have specific regulations regarding the coop and run sq footage. This year when I renewed my permit I had to send in a picture of my coop for their file. Not sure about Williamson Cty or Ducks though...

I only know of the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville. It is free. You would take I-24 in to Harding Place...it's probably about 15 minute drive once off the interstate. You can maybe find a vet nearby, but they would probably charge a fee ??? I don't know...

My Father In Law in Texas bought some feed store Ameraucanas, but I told him they might be EEs. He can't remember what the sign said/spelled Ameri or Ameraucana...he was just blinded by the need to have some chicks!!! LOL
Are there any forms of True Ameraucanas that would would hatch a chick...
My Welsummer hen had huge spurs. They were at least an 1" long.
It happens sometimes...like bearded hen turkeys If it's laying an egg it's def a hen/pullet.
Check out the spur just visible above the grass on her left leg...
