I own a silver Polish, It is the funniest looking bird I have ever owned. These are really sweet and pretty birds just to own and to show.

I own two of these I got from a trade for show birds. Very motherly hens and good looking roosters. Sweet birds all around.
The roosters are handsome little birds with some beautiful colorations. All the ones I own are for show use and are funny little birds to own. And are the cutest little chicks.

My Cochins are well behaved loveable birds. Wonderful mothers and have always pulled me in a blue ribbon at show. They are soft and so adoriable and make wonderful egg layers and yard chickens.

Pros: Great Mother, Great Layer
My Star lays almost 2 to 3 eggs a day and she has hatched out over 20 chicks in one clutch. These birds are great all around hens.

Orpington

Pros: Extremely handsome bird, Very Hardy
Cons: Sterotypical Chicken
I have no actual cons for the Orpington. I own one Orpingotn rooster. He's the big bird on the farm. He protects and cares for everyone. He's a great rooster and he's won several shows and as even been asked to use as stud. Orpingtons are those birds you almost always see on the farm, and I thinks it's because of how hardy and good looking they are.

Silkie

Pros: Well Behaved, Loveable
Cons: Delicate
These birds are unique and even the roosters always have a loveable personality. they make great parents and my silkie hens always hatch out over 10 chicks per a clutch and raise them all. My only problem is these birds tend to be delicate and can easily become sick or easy prey for something as small as a rat. They need to be kept int a house like a coop and extremely clean and dry areas.
