My 16 week Buff is growing fast! She was sold as a pullet, but that tail has me worried. I live in town and can't have a roo. Would love opinions... no crow yet.
My australorp is now 17 weeks... looks just like my other one (who I'm sure is a pullet)..but those waddles and comb are getting soooo big! Is she really a hen?
I was pretty certain that my 11 week old BA was a pullet... but the waddles are getting larger and deeper pink. Any thoughts?
Please help...Would love some thoughts on this bird.

I'm a first time chicken mom..(love them!) All chicks came from a feed store, and are supposed to be pullets. They are 6 weeks old today. Any thoughts on their sexes would be fantastic!

I have 2 silkies in my mixed flock.. love them to pieces! They are 4.5 weeks, both the same size, and feathered out at about the same rate as my other heritage breeds (if that matters). Any idea of their sex? I was thinking the buff one might be male because of the head feathers, but then I...
Any thoughts? Hoping for a pullet of course. She my son's little baby...just a little over 4 weeks. She feathered quickly, but that comb came on pretty quick..and she's just a little lighter than my other BR... but not much.
