shut the bator off this morning assuming no more chicks were to hatch in this batch. Cleaned it out and was opening the unhatched eggs to see why they didn't hatch and 3 fully developed...STILL ALIVE chicks were there. 1 of them had fully absorbed the yolk sac so I put him under heat...fully...
I just went to order my new Brinsea incubator and auto turner and they wanted 37 bucks for shipping. The incubator itself is only 99....geez.
anyone now of another source where I won't get hit on shipping charges???
The dog is 5 yrs old and has skin problems. Right now the owner is on her second round of antibiotics, she shaved the dog as well. He eats Purina One food. My guess is allergies as my previous Golden had allergies as well.

do you all have on the bottom of your cages? I have 1 inch by half inch which works fine but i am converting a 5X9 rabbit hutch for the quail and right now it has half inch by half inch.....not sure if this will be big enough for the quail poop to fall thorugh.

How do you (or can't you)...know whether an egg that didn;'t developed in the incubator is fertile or not fertile. Can fertile eggs just not developed for some reason?
